Micah Simmons | #A4 | Artist Type

All of my paintings are created with color as it relates to form and feeling. My purpose for painting is to provoke feelings from the viewer using form and color, thus allowing their imagination to shape what they see as opposed to what they believe they see. Imagination allows my work to be many things to the individual depending upon their feelings at the moment. Most of my work is painted to music, often in front of an audience. I may begin with an idea but the music and the energy the audience creates lead the piece to the final outcome. ~ Micah
