The expression, "Art Saves" is the only way I can explain how my journey as a photographer began. I sought growth, learning, expression, and a new beginning from photography at a very dark time in my life; and I now confidently call myself an artist.
I am a born and raised Houstonian and a graduate of School of the Woods Montessori High School. I've also spent one semester studying the photographic arts at the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico.
I would like to introduce myself as a digital photographer in a digital era, who has traveled to Guatemala, Chile, Belize, The Dominican Republic, Mexico, and the Grand Cayman islands with my camera.
Art is a very personal experience for me. Seeing another world through a lens; that's the best way to describe my art. In every shot I take, I'm able to infuse my own truth, feelings, opinions, philosophies, and expressions.
In my opinion, when you take that leap from creating art to creating it and showing/selling it- that's when you're making a difference as an artist because you're having the courage to let your expressions be experienced by the world while letting them inspire others.
