As an artist, I’'m able to see the world through a unique scope. A view transformed by spiritual experiences and sensual riddles. The world has a way of stealing the youth of people, robbing them in the guise of monetary survival. This is a violation of the spirit that must not be tolerated. Making art, for me, is a rebellion against a society dedicated to the attrition of the mind. Those that think with the right side of the brain are aware of the gentle and hidden thread of true existence; the gift of expressing life through the spectrum of our senses. It is otherwise covered by the lifeless cycle of paying bills, managing money, worrying about credit fraud, and trying to attain assets which will not journey with us when we die. Art is about education, but it’s also a chronicle of the mentality of the people. In the next millennium, what will future civilizations speak of when referring to our time and place in history? Will humanity be labeled as being superior in ignorance or steadfast in seeking the remedies of the spirit? In the 2000 yrs of recorded history, no endeavor has been greater then finding the way of the soul. As an artist, no experience can be more fulfilling; no riddle could be more challenging, than trying to find a proper definition of God.
