Paula Hawkins | #24 | Painter

I paint in a style I call Quantum Realism It’s a mostly realistic, impressionist, Van Gogh – Monet – N.C. Wyeth style. I admire the work of Georgia O'Keeffe, Jasper Johns and David Hockney. Quantum Realism combines Art and Quantum Physics.
Quantum Realism goes beyond abstraction....it becomes a realistic depiction of energy.
It allows me to explore the many worlds that exist in the realms of the mind and the universe - I can paint and explore the thoughts that lie behind the art, creating a new way for me to see and think. I am interested in exploring dimensions inside the
painting, such as colour, light, mood and time.
I am extremely interested in quantum physics, artificial intelligence and technology and how they will impact art and society.
I believe art can touch your subconscious in a way logic cannot music can also go there) - and by tapping into a different viewpoint, you can create change and make a lasting impact.
