Delgado is intrigued by the symbolism and physical beauty of doors, as well old, rustic, and distressed surfaces. She captures the mystery and allure of doors through the portal of her camera and recreates distressed surfaces through her "constructions". She constantly explores layers of deconstruction and reconstruction and self renewal through an unconventional mixture of concrete, stucco, grout, plaster and paint.
