I would describe my artwork as an evolving revelatory investigation.  leaving aside a preconceived idea, my art begins from the initial marks I make.  In essence, the door opens to my personal catalog of images.  I am inspired by the process of exploring with various materials and letting the layers pull me through to discovery.
Initial marks are the foundation; the layers following are the building blocks to my imagery. Elelments of detail or expanses of space are revealed to me as the work progresses. These abstract forms direct me to my conscious references whether it is to organic imagery, landscape references or an influence of human emotion.
